CarMediaWorld Salzburg 2018 – The leading International Car Media Show

With its exhibition motto “The sound of Springtime!” the CarMediaWorld launched this year’s Mobile Infotainment Season again in the course of Salzburg’s renowned Auto Messe. From March 23 to 25, leading manufacturers and distributors of the car media industry presented their product line ups and technology trends. 26 companies and more than 50 brands were present, and a huge range of demo vehicles and EMMA competition cars were on site in Hall 10 and the Salzburg Arena, ready for a soundcheck by fair visitors and car media retail specialists.

The EMMA European Championship once again provided a great platform for sound enthusiasts. Hundreds of car media aficionados from all EMMA nations came with their unique sound vehicles to make the EMMA Eurofinale in Salzburg THE mega event of the competition season. The big Saturday party in the arena was once again a perfect get-together for the international EMMA community. More than 700 participants celebrated their passion for car audio and entertainment. Many exhibitors used the party to foster their business contacts in a relaxed atmosphere after a busy day at the fair.

Alexander Klett, Managing Director of EMMA GmbH and CarMediaWorld initiator: After almost a week on Salzburg’s trade fair ground and plenty of action around the realization of this year’s CarMediaWorld, it is on me to express my heartfelt thanks to the Salzburg Messe Team, our organization team and our exhibitors. Together we succeeded once again in inspiring many people for the theme of mobile infotainment and music enjoyment!

Timo Vogelmann, Sales Manager at Mosconi / Gladen: We are very enthusiastic about our presence in Salzburg. The fair again offered an attractive setting for our company presentation. We are excited to see that CarMediaWorld as an industry fair is growing significantly – especially on an international level. Many new brands on the exhibitor side and a significant increase in international trade visitors brought us many very good dialogs at our stand and lots of new contacts.

John Gulliver, Export Sales Manager at Connects2: It was our first time as a CarMediaWorld exhibitor in Salzburg and we are very happy with the result. Not only the quantity, but also the quality of the conversations we had at our stand were extremely good.

Bruno Dammert, Managing Director of Audio Design: Is there a better place for the premiere of products for perfect music reproduction than the birthplace of Mozart? For the launch of our new brand Musway, we benefited from a broad support through the CarMediaWorld initiators and the Auto Messe team. The keen interest in our new products on the stand and our demonstration vehicle, as well as the enthusiastic reactions of the media were outstandingly enthusing.
